Recently formed for the purpose of providing specially trained horses to support special riders as they compete in various equestrian events, the Lone Star Equestrian Association is an Unincorporated Nonprofit Association (UNA). The association currently owns and cares for three horses, providing them, along with all tack and necessary equipment, free of charge, to the Lake Houston Hurricanes Special Olympics Equestrian Team, for their practices and competitions.
